To shadow dwellers below

Do you mean 'their' in the final line !!!!!!
I like the ambiguity of it - could be there their or the're - location, posession or whatever part of speech "they are" is/are.
WRM eats, shoots and leaves.
Is this an attempt to cover up a grammar error?
Sunset.
Darkness comes early in the streets of the city,
Where the height of the buildings cuts out the light,
And neon replaces the natural daylight,
With a vivid fluorescence
That denies the night.
In the wide open farmlands
and empty savannah,
The sky stretches for ever, day after day,
And night comes in slowly,
tiptoe-ing gently,

"grey" - this was composed in York?
